Plaster is a versatile facing material that can be applied to flat or curved surfaces either inside or outside any building or structure.

Plaster has proved to be a durable wall cover in all climates from the very hot to the very cold. It has great appeal as a surface finish because of its utility, low first cost, and minimum need for maintenance.

Plaster Construction Qualities:

The final appearance of the finish coat can be varied by changing the size and shape of the aggregate, using colored plastic (stucco) cement or masonry cement, adding pigments, changing the consistency of the finish mix, the method or equipment used for plastering, and the plasterer's skill in manipulating the finish coat. Man-made stones are an example of the materials adaptability, Designed for use in nonstructural applications, such as a veneer facing on masonry, metal, or frame construction this technique can duplicate the look of stone surfaces for new construction, exterior and interior walls and fireplaces.

The SBPC Association is working the local architects and Santa Clara Valley Chapter of Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) to educate contractors and consumers on the advantages of a plaster construction solution. All of our contractor members are signatory union shops. We believe in the best training programs to uphold the highest quality and standards.

We attend local area Home & Design shows in the South Bay Area. We are always building for a better future and career days at some local High Schools and Community Colleges.
